Chhattisgarh CM announces government job and economic aid for family of Biranpur communal riots victim

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has made a major announcement today, stating that the family of a 22-year-old youth who was killed in the Biranpur communal riots will be given a government job and an economic assistance of Rs 10 lakhs. This decision was taken after a meeting with representatives from the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Sahu Sangh.
After meeting with the Chief Minister today, the state president of the society, Tahal Singh Sahu, and other officials made this request, which Bhupesh Baghel accepted. Chief Minister has also directed a high-level administrative probe in the matter led by the Commissioner. The committee will submit its report within a week. He has also appealed to the people of the state to maintain peace and harmony.
Meanwhile, food minister Amarjeet Bhagat said that the state-wide shutdown unnecessarily caused trouble for people. Where the incident occurred, it should be shut, and protests should be held. By calling for a statewide shutdown, people along with businesses are being harassed. If action was not taken, then it may also be considered appropriate to hold protests, but not like this.
