The Speaker mentioned that Chhattisgarh is about to complete 25 years of its journey in 2025. Efforts will be made to enter the new assembly in Naya Raipur during this tenure.
There will be a total of 20 sittings meetings during the budget session. The session will commence with the Governor’s address, and the budget will be presented on February 9 by Finance Minister OP Choudhary, he stated.
Regarding the BJP’s position in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Dr Singh stated that they are in a much better position. He predicted a victory for the BJP in all 11 seats in the state. “We had won nine out of 11 Lok Sabha seats in Chhattisgarh in 2019 general elections even after a dismal performance in the Assembly elections in 2018. We are the ruling party today and can win all the Lok Sabha seats,” Dr Singh said.
