‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’ Phase Two: CM Bhupesh Baghel leaves for Bastar division tour

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel left on a tour of Bastar division for the second phase of his ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’ commencing from today. The second phase of the campaign will kick off from Konta assembly constituency. He will take stock of the ground reality of the implementation of government schemes by directly interacting with common citizens in Konta and Chhindgarh. Following this, he will reach Sukma.
Baghel will inaugurate the Officers’ Mess at Police Lines in Sukma and C-Mart besides unveiling the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Shaheed Park. After meeting various delegations there in the evening, he will visit Rajiv Bhawan and meet public representatives.
Meanwhile, chief minister has begun his mammoth public interaction drive (Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan) from May 4 to reach out to maximum number of people and take feedback of government schemes. In the first phase of this campaign, Baghel visited assembly constituencies falling under Surguja division from May 4 to May 11. During this, he reached among the people in the assembly constituencies of three districts and inquired about the implementation of government schemes and the benefits being given to the public. People conveyed their problems to chief minister on which immediate solutions were provided. On the demand of the people, Baghel also announced various development and construction works.
