Bhatapara Congress MLA Indra Sao Injured in Car-Truck Collision En Route to Prayagraj Kumbh

MLA’s Personal Security Officer Suffers Serious Head Injury

Congress MLA Indra Sao from Chhattisgarh’s Bhatapara assembly constituency was injured when his car collided with a truck in Uttar Pradesh while traveling to Prayagraj for the Kumbh pilgrimage with his family. The accident resulted in injuries to the MLA’s hand, while his wife and a female relative sustained fractures. The MLA’s Personal Security Officer (PSO) suffered severe head injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh.
Reports indicate that the MLA and his family were on their way to Prayagraj on Sunday morning. Around 7 a.m., their car collided head-on with a truck in the Bahmani police station area of Sonbhadra district.
Eight Occupants in the Car
The vehicle was carrying eight people: MLA Indra Sao, his wife, their daughters aged 29 and 27, two female relatives aged 30 and 45, PSO Tukeshwar Yadav, and driver Dwarika Sahu. Fortunately, all the injured passengers are reported to be out of danger.
Extent of Injuries
The MLA sustained injuries to his hand, while the PSO suffered severe head injuries. The MLA’s wife and other relatives also sustained injuries and were admitted to the hospital, where they are receiving treatment.
The accident, which occurred around 7 a.m., left the car severely damaged after it collided with the oncoming truck.
