Banke Bihari Temple Reconstruction Programme Inaugurated in Raipur with Religious Pomp and Promises for Swift Completion

The reconstruction of Shri Banke Bihari Temple in Raipur was inaugurated today by Raipur Municipal Corporation Chairman Pramod Dubey and Shri Banke Bihari Mandir Trust President Ashok Agarwal. Chairman of the Samiti, Dr Manoj Murari Lal Agarwal, offered prayers.

Chairman Pramod Dubey, in his speech, called the occasion a priceless opportunity and vowed to complete the temple construction with no obstacles coming in the way. Chief Guest Arun Dubey highlighted the significance of the temple in the history of Raipur and the state. Ashok Aggarwal welcomed the guests and expressed confidence in completing the construction with community cooperation. Senior Journalist Aniruddha Dubey who was earlier resident of that ancient temple for many years have told about the historic importance of that temple. He mentioned that it is one of the oldest temple of Raipur and the only temple which is called ’Banke Bihari’. Many freedom fighters and famous political personalities had visited the temple time to time to offering the prayers. The legendary actor Prithwiraj Kapoor had also visited the temple Aniruddha Dubey added.

Sanjay Radheshyam Agarwal, the publicity in charge of the temple construction committee, announced the start of the reconstruction. Deepak Sharma ran the first shovel after worshipping, and other dignitaries and residents symbolically started the new construction work by shovelling.
Several trust committee members, the temple construction committee, and the public were present, including Suresh Chaudhary, Nandkishore Agarwal, Ajay Khaitan, Tripat Jain, Purushottam Joshi, and others.
