Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai expressed deep grief over the bus accident near Balrampur and announced financial assistance for the victims. The Chief Minister extended condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and said the Chhattisgarh government stands firmly with the affected families.
The state government will provide ₹5 lakh each to the kin of the 10 persons killed in the accident. Injured persons will receive ₹50,000 each. This financial aid is in addition to immediate relief provided by the administration and any insurance claims.
The Chief Minister directed the administration to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured. He also instructed officials to take effective measures to improve road safety and prevent recurrence of such accidents.
The Chief Minister prayed for the departed souls and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
