O. P. Choudhary on Tuesday presented Chhattisgarh’s Budget 2026–27 in the Legislative Assembly, terming it a decisive step toward the vision of “Viksit Chhattisgarh 2047.” The budget, themed SANKALP, is the government’s third financial statement and lays emphasis on inclusive development, infrastructure expansion, industrial growth, and human capital strengthening.
Vishnu Deo Sai said the budget would accelerate development, ensure balanced regional growth, and strengthen social security frameworks across communities.

- Total Outlay: ₹1,72,000 crore (up from ₹1,65,000 crore in 2025–26)
- GSDP: ₹7,09,553 crore (12.4% growth)
- Capital Expenditure: ₹26,500 crore (15.4% of total budget; 3.7% of GSDP)
- Revenue Expenditure: ₹1,45,000 crore
- Fiscal Deficit: ₹20,400 crore (2.87% of GSDP; within 3% FRBM limit)
