Voting For Chhattisgarh Urban Body Elections Concludes, 68.1% voting by 4 PM

Voting for the Chhattisgarh urban body elections has ended on Tuesday. Voters who are inside the polling booths will be allowed to cast their votes.  The state recorded 68.1% voter turnout by 4 PM, with 67.8% female turnout and 64.06% male turnout. Raipur Municipal Corporation saw 44.50% voting by 4 PM.

Elections were held in 10 municipal corporations including Ambikapur, Korba, Chirmiri, Jagdalpur, Durg, Dhamtari, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Raigarh, and Raipur.

Voting also took place in 49 municipalities and 114 Nagar panchayats. Results for all bodies will be announced on February 15.

Deepka Municipal Council: 48.09%

Katghora Municipal Council: 67.57%

Bankimongra Municipal Council: 62.77%

Pali Town Council: 71.38%
