. Raipur A week after Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai, along with his cabinet ministers, took the oath, departments were allotted to the ministers on Friday. A notification to this effect has been issued by the General Administration Department of Chhattisgarh following the Governor’s instructions. In the Sai government, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao have been assigned Public Works, Urban Administration, and PHE (Public Health Engineering), while Vijay Sharma has been given the responsibility of Home Affairs, Prisons, Panchayat, and Rural Development.

Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai holds General Administration, Mineral Resources, Energy, and Public Relations. Following him, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao holds Public Works, Urban Administration, , and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma holds Home Affairs, Prisons, Panchayat, and Rural Development. Brijmohan Agrawal holds Education (School and Higher), Parliamentary Affairs, Ramvichar Netam holds Tribal Development, Scheduled Caste Development, Backward Class, and Minority Development. Dayaldas Baghel holds Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Kedar Kashyap holds Forest and Environment, Water Resources, Skill Development, and Cooperative. OP Choudhary holds Finance, Commerce, Housing, Environment, Planning, and Statistics. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal holds PHE, Family Welfare, Medical Education, and the 20-point implementation, Lakhan Lal Dewangan holds Commerce, Industry, and Labor. Lakshmi Rajwade holds the Women and Child Development Department, and Tankaram Varma holds Sports and Youth Welfare.
