Chief Minister is again trying to mislead people by writing letter to PM regarding housing scheme, say Arun Sao

Raipur Chhattisgarh BJP president Arun Sao on Wednesday took a dig at Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for writing a letter to the Prime Minister regarding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Talking to media, the BJP State President accused the state government of leaving 1.6 million impoverished families without homes by not contributing state’s share. As the elections loom closer, the chief minister is trying to mislead the public by writing a letter to the Prime Minister, Sao said, adding , the public won’t be deceived a second time. Sao took aim at the Congress and asserted that over the past five years, the state government has deceived various segments of society. The Congress party, Sao claims, is grappling with a crisis of trust, forcing them to resort to conventions in an effort to regain credibility. On junior doctors’ strike, Sao highlighted the significant deterioration in the healthcare system over the past half-decade. He cited the government’s admission in the legislative assembly that a staggering 40,000 children have lost their lives in the last five years. Sao also criticized Health Minister T S Singhdeo for his inability to effectively manage the department, leading to rampant mismanagement in hospitals. The strike by junior doctors further underscores the healthcare system’s fragility. He called upon the government to promptly address the demands of the striking doctors instead of dismissing them. Turning to the viral video emanating from Aamapalli Girls’ Hostel, Sao expressed grave concern about the string of misconduct incidents that have come to light within the past five days. He noted that a total of seven incidents, from Sukma to the present, have been reported. He lamented the deteriorating safety of daughters within the state, blaming the government for failing to ensure their security. In reference to the BJP’s core group meeting, Sao disclosed that following the Morcha meeting, there are plans for a subsequent core group meeting. This will be followed by a gathering of the Election Committee, indicating the party’s strategic preparation for the upcoming elections.
