Chhattisgarh Cabinet takes several important decisions

Raipur Chhattisgarh Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took important decisions, including relaxation in government recruitment and exemption in the establishment of industries, during a meeting held on Wednesday evening. The Cabinet approved the draft of the Chhattisgarh Appropriation Bill-2023 regarding the presentation of the first supplementary estimate year 2023-24. The Cabinet decided to allot open land to eligible families of Rakhi village affected by developmental projects under the Nava Raipur Atal City Development Authority rehabilitation policy. In 12 villages of Layer-1, it was decided to provide settlement patta as per the prescribed limit to the eligible families occupying the land owned by Nava Raipur Atal Municipal Development Authority. Various types of exemptions, grants and concessions have been announced for setting up industries for different classes. In order to encourage the establishment of large, mega, ultra mega industries in the state, it was decided to include the “Special Investment Promotion Package Implementation Rules-2019” under the Industrial Policy 2019-24. Proposals to promote industrial activities in the state of Chhattisgarh, along with the inclusion of vehicle scraping policy in the Industrial Policy 2019-24, exemption from stamp duty, exemption from market fee, special investment incentive package for closed and sick industries in the state, transport and electricity duty exemption was approved. Relaxing Schedule-Four of the Chhattisgarh Revenue (Class III Clerical) Service Recruitment Rules, 1985, it has been decided to provide a relaxation of three years only once for the promotion of 38 vacant posts from Auditor/Assistant Superintendent to Superintendent (R) was approved. It was decided to provide relaxation in the land allotted to Brahmin community in district Bilaspur.
