Chhattisgarh’s Mitan Yojana Simplifies Access to Government Documents.

The state government is making it easier for people to get important documents through the Mitan Yojana while staying home. As part of this initiative, the Chief Minister’s grandson recently got his Aadhaar card registered under this scheme.
To register the Aadhaar card for the Chief Minister’s grandson, they called the toll-free number 14545 of Mitan from the Chief Minister’s house. Mitan representatives then visited the Chief Minister’s house to complete the necessary procedures and ensured that the Aadhaar card was made available within the given timeframe. The representatives handed over the Aadhaar documents to Bahu Khyati, a member of the Chief Minister’s family. The Chief Minister shared this information on Twitter.
CM Bhupesh Baghel expressed his satisfaction, stating that Mitan had visited his house, just like they would visit any other citizen’s house, and registered his grandson’s Aadhaar card. He emphasized that it is now convenient for everyone to avail of various services with a phone call. To benefit from the Mitan Yojana, people can call 14545.
In Chhattisgarh, the Urban Administration Development Department has launched Chief Minister Mitan Yojana from May 1, 2022. This program offers home access services for obtaining government documents in all 14 municipal corporations.
The services available under this scheme include obtaining Birth Certificates, making corrections in Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, making corrections in Death Certificates, Native Certificates, Marriage Registrations and Certificates, Income Certificates, Other Backward Class Certificates, Scheduled Caste Certificates, Scheduled Tribe Certificates, Shop and Establishment Registration Documents, Copies of Land Records, Land Information (Land Use), and Aadhaar Card Registration for children up to 5 years old. The Mitan service also provides services for Aadhaar Card Address and Mobile Number Correction, PAN (Permanent Account Number) application forms, PAN updates, and duplicate PAN cards. Additionally, the facility to apply for a ration card has been added to the services offered by Mitan.
