Union Home Minister Amit Shah appeals people of Chhattisgarh to vote out Congress govt in Assembly and Lok Sabha elections

Union Home Minister Amit Shah sounded the poll bugle in Durg, the home district of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, by addressing a mammoth public rally on Thursday. Addressing the rally at Pt Ravishankar Stadium, the Union Home Minister said that Congress has insulted Lord Ram for 70 years. People should take a pledge that they will form the BJP government in Chhattisgarh and Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.
Shah said that before 2014, the 10-year government of Sonia-Manmohan at the Center had done a scam of Rs 12 lakh crore while nobody can question the honesty of the Modi government in the last nine years.
Earlier, Shah went to Padma Shri Pandwani singer Usha Barle’s house and met her and family.
Shah warned the Congress government of the state, saying that the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh should see the huge public present here and understand that his countdown has started. He then moved on to the central issues.
Before 2014 when Sonia-Manmohan’s government was at the center, they did a scam of Rs 12 lakh crore. Today Modi ji’s government has completed 9 years, the opposition cannot allege scams. When the Congress government was at the centre, terrorist attacks used to happen every day. In the Modi government, Pakistan attacked in Uri, Pulmawa, then within 10 days PM Modi taught a lesson to Pakistan by doing a surgical strike.

\Article 370 was abrogated, not even a pebble moved
Article 370 was removed on August 5, 2014, but Congress opposed it. Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, everyone kept saying that the decision will have adverse effect but the reality was that not even a single pebble moved there.

\Keep tickets ready to visit Ramlala
Shah told people to keep tickets ready for Ayodhya in January as Ram Lalla is going to be seen in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. He said that the Congress was stalling and misleading about the construction of Lord Ram’s temple. Modi ji did this work and people will be able to see Ramlala in January.

\Chhattisgarh government attacked
Amit Shah said, the Baghel government of Chhattisgarh has failed on every front. One thousand farmers committed suicide. Unemployment has increased continuously. The central government sent 74 thousand crore rupees to the bank accounts of the farmers. The Bhupesh government gave only Rs 12,100 crore to the farmers and the poor.
Amit Shah said, Bhupesh Baghel’s government had announced prohibition, started home delivery of liquor. Promised to give 10 lakh jobs, but did not give jobs to the youth. Unemployment allowance was promised but not given. Old age pension to elderly mothers is now not reaching on time. This government has also given a loan of 1.5 lakh crores to the state.
\Shah counts Modi government’s achievements
Amit Shah said, Modi government gave 6 thousand every year to 38 lakh farmers. 35 lakh water connections were given. Toilets were constructed for 38 lakh women. 5 kg food grains were given to 52 lakh families. Gas connections to 6 lakh women was given. IIT Bhilai was also gifted by the central government. More than 2 lakh people got tap connections under Jal Jeevan.
There is talk in political circles that Usha Barle may contest election from Ahiwara assembly or Patan assembly constituency on BJP ticket.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were greatly impressed by his presentation while receiving the Padma Shri award. Later it was discussed that she may enter BJP in the coming days.
Meanwhile, hundreds of NSUI workers who tried to show black flags to Amit Shah at Bhilai Power House were detained by the police.
Earlier, Shah was received by former chief minister Raman Singh at Raipur airport. Many BJP leaders were present with him along with Arun Sao, Ramvichar Netam, Brijmohan Agrawal, Ajay Chandrakar, Rajesh Munat. After meeting him, Amit Shah left for the fort.
