Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Durg on Thursday; CM Baghel says he may be coming to celebrate Saroj Didi’s birthday Raipur Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a public meeting at Bhilai’s Jayanti Stadium on Thursday. As per schedule, Shah will reach Bhilai’s Jayanti Stadium at 1.35 pm and visit singer Usha Barle’s house. He will be staying for 20 minutes here. Shah will then move to Ravi Shankar Stadium of Durg directly from here at 2.10 pm. Here he will address the program for 50 minutes. More than 50 thousand people are expected to attend the programme of the union minister. A route chart has also been prescribed for the vehicles coming from different routes. Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has taunted that Shah may be coming to celebrate the birthday of Saroj Didi on Thursday. The Chief Minister said that Durg is Congress party’s stronghold and Shah’s visit will not make any differences to the party’s performance in the coming assembly elections. Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress president Mohan Markam said that the Union Home Minister during his visit before the 2018 Assembly elections had given a target of 65 seats to the BJP leaders but they were restricted to 14. Markam said that what the Congress has achieved in four years, the BJP could not do it in the 15 years of its rule. People’s blessing is with Congress, he said.
