As per the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, under the guidance of Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar, the new facility ‘Tunhar Sarkar Tunhar Dwar’ is being efficiently operated by the Transport Department in the state. Under this, from June 2021 until now, 20 lakh, 10 thousand, and 127 smart-card-based registration certificates and driving licences have been sent to the applicants’ homes. These include 13 lakh, 72 thousand, 906 smart card-based registration certificates and six lakhs, thirty-seven thousand, two-hundred-twenty-one driving licences. For public convenience under the Tunhar Sarkar Tunhar Dwar Yojana, information will now be available to the applicants through SMS and WhatsApp.
Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar is monitoring the smooth functioning of ‘Tunhar Sarkar Tunhar Dwar’. They provide 22 transport-related services to the people at their doorstep. Under this people-centric facility, the public no longer needs to visit the Transport Department, saving money and time.
The department has issued a helpline number- 75808-08030 to make the ‘Tunhar Sarkar, Tunhar Dwar’ service more accessible, which works from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on all working days. Applicants can also get the desired information via mail to the e-mail ID www.parivahan.gov.in. By calling the helpline number, applicants can get all the information related to the dispatch of their driving licence and registration certificate. At present, on average, 100 calls are being received daily.
