Pandariya roads to get major facelift with ₹14.14 crore allocation

RaipurPandariya MLA Bhavna Bohra has announced the approval of road extension and strengthening projects worth ₹14.14 crore for the constituency. The Public Works Department (PWD) granted administrative and financial sanction for these works under the state budgets 2024-25 and 2025-26.

The approved projects include the 3.20-km stretch from Dengur Jam to Amaniya at a cost of ₹5.79 crore, the 3.50-km Bharatpur-Ghoghra road for ₹6.12 crore, and the 3-km Mahli to Nanapuri road for ₹2.23 crore.

These roadworks are expected to improve connectivity for residents of Dengur Jam, Tedapani, Amaniya, Bhagatpur, Ghoghra, Mahli, and Nanapuri. Improved access is intended to support local trade and provide better transport facilities in rural pockets of the assembly segment.

Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, and Finance Minister OP Choudhary, Bohra said the state government aims to ensure all-weather road connectivity for every village in Chhattisgarh. She noted that nearly 500 km of road construction is currently underway in Pandariya to link rural areas with the mainstream.

“The BJP government is prioritising the fundamental demands of the public. Apart from roads, work on irrigation projects, bridge construction, drinking water supply, and health infrastructure is progressing rapidly,” Bohra said.

The MLA added that while the previous administration had neglected the region, the current government is focused on governance and completing long-pending public works. Pandariya is seeing a steady expansion of public welfare projects and infrastructure development.
