At least seven persons were killed in an accident took place near Madai Ghat on National Highway under Bango police station of Korba in the wee hours of Monday. A Metrostar bus heading towards Raipur from Sitapur, Ambikapur rammed into a parked trailer on the left side while avoiding a car coming from the front.
Three persons were injured out of which two were said to be critical. The incident took place around 4:00 am. The injured person were being treated at PoudiHospital while the two seriously injured were referred to Korba District Hospital. Bango police and ambulance had reached the spot and were taking further actions.
