4 girls goes missing from hostel in Narayanpur, still not traced

Raipur: Four girl students of an Ashram located in Abujhmad of Narayanpur district are reportedly missing from the last one week. Neither their families nor any other responsible officer know about them.
Police is probing into matter and making consistent efforts to find the girls. As per sources, the ashram is located in Naxal stronghold and it is being speculated that Maoists may have taken the girls. Three girls are of Adarsh Kanya Ashram Shala of Orccha and 1 girls is of Eklavya Orccha. These girls went missing from Sunday and even the ashram superintendent doesnt have any information of where they have gone. The family members are blaming the ashram superintendent for her negligence.
A missing report has been filed in the Orccha police station and further investigation is underway. Besides, a show cause notice has been issued to the ashram superintendent by the department concerned.
Meanwhile, some time ago, women Naxalites had surrendered in Dantewada district. The Naxalites had disclosed in the press conference that the Maoists used to take away the children from the ashrams and hostels located in the hinterland. The woman Naxalite who surrendered also used to study while living in the ashram.
