22 Naxals Surrender in Narayanpur, CM Sai Hails Development

As many as 22 Naxals, carrying bounties totalling ₹37.50 lakh, surrendered in Narayanpur district. Individual rewards on the surrendered Naxals ranged from ₹50,000 to ₹8 lakh.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai posted on social media platform ‘X’ that people now want to walk the path of development, not guns. He said a total of 1,476 Maoists have surrendered during his government’s tenure.
Chief Minister Sai said the surrenders are proof of his government’s New Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy 2025 and the positive impact of public welfare schemes. Schemes such as ‘Niyad Nellanar’ have built trust, and people are leaving violence to return to the mainstream of development. The Chief Minister affirmed the government’s full commitment to the rehabilitation of these surrendered Naxals. The double-engine government is committed to eradicating Naxalism by 31 March 2026.
