Police found Sahil Dhivar’s slipper and a ‘gamcha’ (towel) near the crime scene. Sahil’s father identified the items. Investigations revealed Sahil had parked his bike at Bhatapara railway station and disappeared after switching off his phone.
According to Kharora Station House Officer Deepak Paswan, CCTV footage showed Muskan and Sahil together on a bike. The next day, Muskan’s body was found near the pond. Sahil was trying to flee to Maharashtra. He confessed to the murder during questioning and will be sent on judicial remand.
