Trial run of buses conducted at Inter-State Bus Terminal Bhatagaon

Raipur:
A trial-run of buses was conducted at the Inter-State Bus Terminal in Bhatagaon
on Wednesday.

This
was done as per the instructions of Raipur district collector Saurabh Kumar and
Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Agarwal. Bus operators and bus owners
were also present on this occasion along with senior officials. The impact on
traffic was assessed by running about 60-70 buses under trial run
from here.

Regional
Transport Officer Shailabh Sahu informed that during the trial run, Additional
SP Traffic Mandavi, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Sunil
Chandravanshi, DSP Traffic Satish Thakur as well as officials of PWD, electricity
board, and other related departments were present.

During
the trial run, traffic-related issues were specially assessed and videography
of traffic-related arrangements was also done. The bus operators were apprised
of the need for traffic improvement near Pachpedi Chowk Bridge, which would be
rectified by necessary improvements and traffic management.
