Raipur:Chhattisgarh Private School Management Association had no other options but to withdraw its decision of giving students relaxation in uniform for the remaining part of the academic calendar after BJP linked the letter of the private school management association to Hijabcontroversy.
The private school association had issued a letter for the schools asking not to make uniform mandatory in the remaining part of the education calendar 2021-2022. Even as the intention of the school association was only to help students and parents save some money, BJP leader Gaurishankar Shrivas linked the matter to Hijab issue making private school association cancel its order within hours from the issuance.
Association president Rajiv Gupta had issued this order. The BJP leader alleged that the private schools are being forced by the administration for appeasement politics to benefit and make happy a certain group.
Meanwhile, Congress has flayed BJP for making the private school management association’s letter a political issue.
