People got more than 8 and a half lakh smart card based registration certificates and driving licenses sitting at home

Raipur: A new facility ‘Tunhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwar’ is being operated efficiently by the Transport Department in Chhattisgarh. Under this, a total of 08 lakh 52 thousand 136 smart card based registration certificates and driving licenses have been delivered at the doorsteps of the applications in a period of just 10 months from June to March. These include 05 lakh 61 thousand 799 smart card based registration certificates and 02 lakh 90 thousand 337 driving licenses.

Continuous monitoring is being done by the Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar to ensure proper operation of ‘Tuhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwar’. The scheme has been started by the transport department keeping in view the convenience of people. Under this, 22 transport related services are being provided to the people at their doorsteps. Now applicants no longer need to visit the offices again and again, which saves their time and money.

Transport Department officials informed that a helpline number 75808-08030 has been issued by the department to make ‘Tuhar Sarkar, Tuhar Dwar’ service more accessible, which is available from 10 am to 5.30 pm on all working days. Applicants can also get the desired information via e-mail cgparivahandispatch@gmail.com. By calling on the above helpline number, applicants can get all the information related to the dispatch of their driving license and registration certificate. Right now on an average 150 calls are being received per day in which mainly information related to driving license and registration process, taxes and fees are being sought by the applicants.
