Raipur. Moving forward on the concept of Universal Health Care, the state government is continuously expanding health services. Under the leadership of TS Singhdeo, for strengthening health services, the government is modernising existing facilities and making the government hospitals more resourceful. Chhattisgarh’s first state-of-the-art, ‘Hamar Lab’, established in Raipur District Hospital with the technical support of National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh and internationally renowned organization CDC is functioning since 2020 to provide facilities to the people at low rates. Here patients can get 90 different types of tests at affordable rates.
People of Jagdalpur, Baloda Bazar and Rajnandgaon district can also make use of this facility. Hamar Lab at Jagdalpur and Balodabazar District Hospital and Manpur Community Health Center started functioning in 2021. All types of tests related to Hematology, Biochemistry, Serology, Microbiology, Microscopy and Immunology are available in the Hamar labs. In future phases, the testing facility in ‘Hamar Labs’ of District Hospitals will be increased from 90 to 120 and the number of tests in Community Health Center Labs will be increased from 35 to 50. In these modern labs, the patients will get the test reports directly on their mobiles. They can also get the hardcopy of the same from the hospital.
