Baghel will inaugurate the Ram Van Gaman Tourist Circuit and the renovation and
beautification work of Mata Kaushalya temple complex at Chandkhuri on Thursday.

Sahu will preside over the programme to be organized at Police Chandkhuri Academy
Ground. On this occasion, national and international level artists, Manas
troupes and local artists will give their performances in a three-day function
being organized in Chandkhuri from Thursday. Cultural programs will be
organized in Mata Kaushalya temple complex on October 8 and 9.
The story of Lord Shri
Ram’s exile and his stay in Chhattisgarh will be presented through dance,
music, laser show and LED lights in the opening ceremony of Ram Van Gaman
tourism circuit. Renowned singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan, the famous
Padmashree Bharti brothers, singer Kavita Wasnik will perform in the opening
ceremony. Nandakumar Sahu, a Manas (bhajan) troupe that takes devotional songs
of Lord Shri Ram to every nook and corner of the world, Mumbai-based fusion
band Kabir Cafe along with renowned singer Sukriti Sen’s jugalbandi are also
among the highlights of the event.
A specially composed
song for the Chhattisgarh and Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit will be presented
by the Indian rock band Indian Ocean on the occasion. Along with this, a
special dance based on Lord Shri Ram will also be performed by Mumbai-based
famous acrobatic dance group ‘We Unbeatable’. After the inauguration ceremony,
programmes related to the event will be organized for the next two days, in
which the program of ‘Manas mandalis’ gathered from different parts of
Chhattisgarh will continue. Local artists from far-flung areas of the state
will also be given a chance to participate in this event.
