How to Apply Online for SBI Recruitment 2022?

The candidates must read this full section to get details regarding the SBI clerk 2022 application form. Before filling the application fee applicants they must first go through the eligibility criteria. The detail information is given below:

  • The registration form for SBI Clerk applies online only.
  • The candidates have the option of filling the details in one go or they can also partly fill and save the details they have filled in. The candidates can use the provisional registration number and password generated and fill their incomplete details. However, the candidates will be provided with this facility three times only.
  • The candidates will have to fill their personal and educational details and upload their scanned signature and photograph.
  • The aspirants must fill all the details in the form very carefully and must not fill any false information.
  • Candidates cannot edit the details after the final submission of the form.
  • Aspirants should have a valid/working email address and mobile number to fill the application form.
  • Must keep the printout of the confirmation page for further use.
  • Multiple application forms of the single aspirant lead to cancellation of exam for that candidate.
  • Printout of the application form is NOT to be sent to the conducting body.

SBI Clerk 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates can check the details below to confirm their minimum eligibility regarding SBI Clerk 2022.

Age Limit

The minimum age for a candidate to apply for the SBI examination is 20 years old but not more than 28 years old. Besides this, there is age relaxation relevant to category wise candidates as per the government rules:

A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India OR
Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor.

Educational Qualification

(a) He/she must hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
(b) Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
(c) Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.

Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is required for the SBI Clerk exam.

SBI Clerk Admit Card 2022

The SBI Clerk Admit Card is released nearly 10 to 15 days before the exam. The applicants can download the admit from the official website of SBI. The SBI Admit Card includes important details regarding the exam like the full name of the candidate, parent/guardian name, date of birth, a photograph of the candidate, signature, date of exam, exam timing, reporting time, details of subjects, exam instructions, etc.

The candidates can download the admit card by following the below-mentioned steps:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI.
  • Step 2: Click on the link to download ‘SBI Clerk Admit Card 2022’.
  • Step 3: Enter the registration number or application number and password, then click on the login tab.
  • Step 4: Check all the details mentioned on the admit card carefully
  • Step 5: Download the SBI Clerk admit card/Call Letter.
  • Step 6: Take a printout of the admit card.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern

There are two papers in the SBI Clerk examination. The SBI Clerk Exam Pattern for Prelims and Mains is almost the same. The only difference is in the total number of questions, time duration, and weightage of sections.

SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern

  • The SBI Clerk Prelims exam has 3 sections. There are a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
  • The duration of the exam is 1 hour.
  • There is a negative marking in the Prelims exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • There is a separate timing for all the sections.
  • There is no sectional cutoff for this exam.
  • After qualifying for this exam, the candidates become eligible to appear in the Mains exam.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam Pattern

  • SBI Clerk Mains exam consists of a total of 190 MCQ questions from the four sections.
  • There is a fixed time provided to solve all the sections.
  • There is one-fourth negative marking for every wrong answer.
  • After qualifying the cutoff marks of the mains examination, the candidates become eligible to appear in the local language exam.

SBI Clerk Language Exam Pattern

This is the last stage exam in the SBI Clerk exam. The candidates who qualify in the Mains exam are eligible to appear for this exam. This test is not compulsory for all candidates. The candidates who could not provide evidence for their language proficiency need to appear for this exam.
