Two women vaccinators from Chhattisgarh among India’s Best Covid-19 Vaccinators feted on International Women’s Day
Raipur: Two women vaccinators from Chhattisgarh one each from Kabirdham and Raigarh districts were felicitated by the Union Health Ministry today on the occasion of International Women’s Day, for administering maximum number of vaccine doses to the beneficiaries under the Covid-19 vaccination drive.
Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya honored the women vaccinators including Pinky Khare of Kabirdham and Pramila Dewangan of Raigarh by presenting mementoes in a felicitation programme of ‘Best Women Vaccinators’ (Covid-19 Vaccination) organized in New Delhi today.
Pinky Khare, a woman vaccinator of Pondi Primary Health Center in Kabirdham district, has administered over 70, 333 doses of Covid-19 vaccine in 425 sessions during the vaccination drive. Similarly, Mrs. Pramila Dewangan of Kirodimal Nagar Primary Health Center in Raigarh district has administered nearly 45, 463 doses of Covid-19 vaccine in 402 sessions. Union Health Ministry has selected both these women vaccinators of the state on the basis of the evaluation of the vaccination data recorded in the CoWIN application.
