Raipur. Two vaccination workers of Chhattisgarh will receive honours at the national level on International Women’s Day for their excellent work in vaccination to prevent coronavirus. Ms. Pinky Khare of Kabirdham and Mrs. Pramila Devangan of Raigarh will receive the awards at a program organized by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on March 8 in New Delhi. In the program, selected women vaccination workers from across the country will be honored to highlight the contribution of vaccination workers in Coronavirus control. Due to their tireless hard work, the Covid-19 vaccination program in the country has been a huge success. India’s coronavirus vaccination campaign has got global recognition.

Pinki Khare, a vaccination worker of Podi, Primary Health Center in Kabirdham district, has administered 70 thousand 333 vaccines alone in 425 sessions during the Coronavirus vaccination campaign. On the other hand, Pramila Devangan of Kirori Mal Nagar, Primary Health Center of Raigad, has administered 45 thousand 463 vaccines alone in 402 sessions. Both these vaccination workers of the state have been selected for the award on the basis of the evaluation of the data recorded in the Covin application prepared by the Union Health Ministry for corona vaccination.
