State transport offices to get Sensor based Automated Computerized Driving Test Tracks soon

Raipur: The state government is gearing up to establish
Sensor-based Automated Computerized Driving Test Tracks in all transport
offices of the state for conducting driving license tests.

A meeting in this regard was organized at
Mantralaya on Thursday under the chairmanship of chief secretary Amitabh Jain.  In the meeting, discussions were held on
creating Automated Computerized Driving Test Track in all the districts of the
state. Chief Secretary has given instructions to compulsorily include the
parking process of vehicles in the driving test.

It was told in the meeting that automated driving
test will help in reducing road accidents and driving license would be issued
to only those who have passed test successfully. This is being adopted in Chhattisgarh
after its successful implementation in Delhi and Gujarat.
