Addressing a press conference at BJP office in Raipur, Scindia said that land of about 24 acres was required to commence international air services in Raipur, which the state government failed to provide. Similarly, land is even required in Bilaspur in which hurdles are being created. For cargo services 15 metric tonnes capacity should be increased to 50 metric tonnes. Even after constant suggestions, the chief minister is least interested in expansion of air services. The Modi government is doing commendable work in this line.
