\Kopra is the stronghold of Congress
Kopra is the biggest gram panchayat of the district and has been stronghold of Congress. Resigning of a large number of Congress workers in this way can put the Congress in trouble here. Meanwhile, Congress District President Bhav Singh said that he has just got information about this matter. Resignation of any office bearers and workers will not be accepted and they will settle the matter soon.
\ MLA Amitesh Shukla
Amitesh Shukla has been elected to Chhattisgarh Assembly for the third time as an MLA. In the 2018 assembly elections, he defeated BJP’s Santosh Upadhayaby a margin of 58000 votes. Amitesh is the grandson of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla and son of Shyamacharan Shukla. Shyamacharan Shukla was the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. This is the reason why Amitesh has a hold not only in his own assembly but also in other parts of the state.
