Science exhibition organized in Swami Atmanand Government Shivlal Rathi English School

Bemetara. On the occasion of National Science Day, a science draft exhibition was organized on Monday at Swami Atmanand Government Shivlal Rathi English Medium School located at Bemetara, district headquarters.

The program was inaugurated by Collector Vilas Bhoskar Sandipan.
On this occasion Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh, District Education Officer Arvind Mishra, Sunil Tiwari Nodal Officer Swami Atmanand Vidyalaya Bemetara, Laxmi Singh Principal JNV. Khilora Bemetara were present on the occasion.

It is to be known that National Science Day is celebrated every year in honor of India’s great scientist and Nobel laureate Chandrasekhar Venkata Raman. He discovered the Raman Effect on 28 February 1928.

Science forms were displayed by the four houses of school students namely Arpa Sadan, Indravati Sadan, Mahanadi Sadan and Shivnath Sadan.

Under the guidance of science teachers Smriti Agarwal, Swati Thakur, Madhuri Sahu, Vishal Jagwani, Mehul Koshe, Jaswant Singh, the participants of the school participated in the exhibition on Environment, Digestive System, Road Safety, Water Purification Equipment, Drip Irrigation, Human Being. Science models such as Heart Functioning, Vacuum Cleaner, Hologram, Air Pollution Prevention Equipment, Automatic Flour Filter, Flood Proof House, Rainwater Harvesting, Earthquake Indicator, Smoke Observer, Li-Fi and Ultrasonic Radar were built and demonstrated.

He also prepared flash cards related to more than a hundred scientists, in which a general introduction of the scientists was given and the details of their contribution in the field of science were also given.

Appreciating the work of the students, the Collector said, “The teachers were encouraged to give proper guidance to the students in order to increase the interest towards science among the students and to apply the concepts and principles of science in daily life.

In the exhibition, the students were asked about the working principles of the science model made by them and related guidelines were also given.

The collector took stock of the construction works of the school premises. The parents and guests who came to see the demonstration in these forms of science made by the students were mesmerized.

School Principal Sudesha Chatterjee congratulated the participants of the House and wished them a bright future.

On this occasion the Principal Ms. Varsha Sahu, Anamika Ranjit and all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school were present.
