Raipur: A 14-year-old schoolgirl died from Covid-19 in Koriya district of Chhattisgarh.

As per sources, the girl complained of stomach pain and was rushed to the hospital. She was found Covid positive and died at 6 on Sunday morning.

According to CMHO Rameshwar Sharma, the girl was suffering from congenital heart disease. Soon after receiving information, the administration has started corona testing in the village.

Health minister TS Singh Deo has asked the health officials to be on high alert and conduct intensive corona testing in the village besides being constantly in touch with the administration.

District collector Shyam Dhawde said that the administration is on alert and the work of corona testing and contact tracing is being done at a fast pace.
