Panchayat and rural dev min TS Singh Deo meets participants of Hasdeo Bachao Padyatra, says

Raipur: Panchayat and
rural development minister TS Singh Deo met the participants of “Hasdeo Bachao
Padyatra” late on Wednesday.

The foot march started
from Madanpur village from October 4 and reached Raipur today.

“Struggle of you people
to save Hasdeo Aranya is an important one. Today coal mining is extremely
dangerous in the context of environmental concerns and it is necessary that we
move towards renewable energy. With respect to Hasdeo Aranya that it was
declared a ‘no-go’ area for mining. So this concept of no-go should be followed”,
said Panchayat and Health Minister TS Singh Deo while addressing the
participants.
