On the demand of Mitanins sitting on strike, Health Minister TS Singh Deo sent a proposal to CM Bhupesh Baghel on behalf of the department
Raipur: State Health Minister Shri TS Singh Deo has sent a departmental proposal to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressing his concern towards Mitanins who have been on strike for almost two weeks.
It has been stated in the letter that Mitanins, who are the backbone of the health department, have been sitting on dharna for the last 13 days in scorching heat and a lot of inconveniences. Despite the problems, they are sitting on the site of protest to get their demands fulfilled.
Meanwhile, Deo has written two letters to the Finance Department in the past on the subject of Mitanins which are pending due to some reasons. Apart from this, he has met the delegation of Mitanins and discussed their demands in detail and keeping in view the information received from this discussion, Health Minister has sent a proposal of important suggestions to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
The health minister has written that apart from health work from Mitanins, administration also takes many other tasks and their service time is more than a day. On many occasions emergency medical care has to be provided overnight. Considering this matter seriously, Deo has requested the Chief Minister to consider practical aspects keeping in view the untiring hard work of Mitanin and their basic contribution to health services.
