Chhattisgarh: More than 20 percent of the adolescents aged 15 to 18 years vaccinated in the state, in the first two days

Raipur:
The inoculation drive for children of 15-18 years age group is receiving a good
response in Chhattisgarh with more than 20 per cent of the total target
received their Covid shots in the first two days.

the first two days itself, Mungeli district achieved 56 per cent of its total
target, Dhamtari 50 per cent, Kondagaon 43 per cent, Kanker and Gariaband 38
per cent each, Rajnandgaon 29 per cent, Balod and Durg 28 per cent each,
Mahasamund 26 per cent and Balodabazar, Korea and Surajpur districts 21 per
cent each.

Teenagers
are enthusiastically arriving at the vaccination centers set up across the
state. Adolescents born in the years 2005, 2006 and 2007 can reach these
centers and get vaccinated. According to the combined data of January 3 and
January 4, nearly 3 lakh 35 thousand 653 adolescents have been vaccinated
across the state.

In
the first two days COVID vaccination drive for adolescents, 27210 adolescents
have been vaccinated in Mungeli district, 24057 in Dhamtari, 15 thousand 587 in
Kondagaon, 17529 in Kanker, 14001 in Gariaband, 28540 in Rajnandgaon, 13685 in
Balod, 29284 in Durg, 17090 in Mahasamund, 20236 in Balodabazar-Bhatapara, 8249
in Koriya, ten thousand 207 in Surajpur, 3144 in Dantewada and ten thousand 249
teenagers have been vaccinated in Kabirdham district.

First
dose of anti-coronavirus vaccine has been given to 12874 teenagers in Korba
district, 17100 in Bilaspur, 14 thousand 209 in Janjgir-Champa, 11519 in Raigarh,
17 thousand 760 in Raipur, 6300 in Jashpur, 4756 in Surguja, Balrampur 3983 in
Ramanujganj, 3816 in Bastar, 841 in Sukma, 1133 in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 684
in Bijapur, 319 in Narayanpur and 1291 adolescents in Bemetara, in the first
two days of this drive.
