Bilaspur:Being an elected public representative, Bilaspur MLA Shailesh Pandey remains alert all the time when it comes to redressing grievances of the people and it was visible on Sunday when he reached among the public on a phone call.
According to information, MLA Pandey reached Ward No. 66 without any delay on receiving a phone call. The residents here informed the MLA about drainage problem. The women members of the colony told the MLA that filthy drainage water entering their house due to which they face a lot of trouble. MLA Pandeyvisited the houses to see the problem. After assessing the situation, the MLA directed the sub-engineer Lahere and Meenu Bhagat of Bilapur Municipal Corporation Zone-8 to prepare a proposal for the widening of the drains. The MLA also directed for carrying out a special cleaning drive in the area.
The youths at Atal Awas Colony also complained about the absence of cleanliness
As the youths of Atal Awas Colony in Sarkanda raised the issue of the absence of cleanliness work in the colony, MLA Shailesh Pandey directed the officials of the Municipal Corporation to solve the problem at the earliest. The officials visited the colony went to assess the problem.
