Mungeli. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday said that the message of Guru Ghasidas Ji is justified and relevant even today. Chhattisgarh is moving ahead on the path of development at a rapid pace by following the path of Guru Ghasidas ji, said the Chief Minister while addressing the gathering at Lalpur Dham of Mungeli district on Saturday. The Chief Minister attended Guru Parv Mela inaugurated to mark the birth anniversary of Guru Ghasidas.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced a Government High School after Anjor Das Patle.
Wishing the general public, CM Bhupesh Baghel said that Guru Ghasidas Jayanti is celebrated in Chhattisgarh with reverence, respect and enthusiasm. He said that during lockdown, the migrant workers were coming by road and other routes facing great difficulties. At such a time, public representatives, district and police administration, social organisations, and employees of various departments including Mitanin, Anganwadi workers arranged food, water, medicine and even footwear for them. All this was possible only with the blessings of Guru Ghasidas.
He said that every family of the state should be financially prosperous, and get quality education. For this, many schemes are being implemented in the state.
Earlier, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Jaitkham, a symbol of faith and belief of the society and wished for the prosperity of the people.
Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Kumar Dahariya also addressed Guru Ghasidas Jayanti celebrations. He said that cleanliness based surveys were conducted all over the country and Chhattisgarh stood first.
