Those who displayed knives in the Kawardha violence were not booked under Section 307 of the IPC, but innocent people were put behind the bar. Atrocity act was imposed against innocent people in Kawardha case, he said.

On Jhiram Ghati case, Dr Singh said that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s haste for constituting a new commission remains a mystery. The Chief Minister could not even wait for the Governor’s decision on the report submitted by Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra Commission on Jhiram, he said.
