Naya Raipur. Today Health Minister TS Singhdev attended a joint meeting of all Chief Medical Officers, Divisional Joint Director and Civil Surgeon of the state at Vyapam Bhawan, Naya Raipur.
He reviewed the preparedness of all the districts in the context of the third wave of Covid infection, which generally includes the status of equipment, weekly testing of equipment, status of virology labs, RT PCR test from last month (15 November 2021 to 15 December 2021). Including other important topics. After this, Health Minister TS Singhdeo said that we need to increase the number of RTPCR testing in the state. Regarding the preparations for the third wave, he got information about the oxygen infrastructure, the construction works of the oxygen plant and the LMO plant and the availability of flow meters in the hospitals and directed all the officers to complete these works at the earliest.
Health Minister TS Singhdeo while discussing the topic of maternal and child health said that in the past due to coronavirus, such important subjects were left behind but now we all have to work together. There is a need to review all SNCUs daily as well as work with information about high risk pregnancies. Along with this, the Health Minister provided necessary guidelines after getting information about Neonatal Death Audit, pending civil works, cataract surgery and other important subjects. He also awarded certificates to the district hospitals which have excelled in the National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS).
