Former Chief Minister Raman Singh attacks Congress on the Conversion issue.

Dispatch News.

Raipur. Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has once again denounced the government on the issue of conversion. Raman Singh, who had come to attend a program in Gariaband, said that in this two-and-a-half-year Congress government, there was a massive wave of conversion. Such people from Chhattisgarh to Delhi have the patronage of Congress. He also said that even after two-and-a-half years, Congress is still competing over the CMs chair.

Raman Singh had reached Chhura in Gariaband district on Friday. Here he participated in the Teej Milan program by planting saplings at Kosambuda Ghat. During this, Union Minister of State Renuka Singh and BJP leaders were present with him. After the program, while discussing with the media, Raman Singh made serious allegations against the government regarding the Naan scam. He said that in the affidavit given in the Supreme Court, the government was trying to save the two accused in the Naan scam.

Referring to the political situation of Punjab, Raman Singh said that the condition of the Congress government in Chhattisgarh is also not good. Raman Singh said that the development of the state is at a complete standstill because the government cannot resolve the issue of the Chief Minister for two and a half years.

BJP is constantly attacking Congress these days regarding the issue of conversion. BJP leaders have also protested many times regarding conversion. Raman Singh has also given a statement. Earlier, in a tweet, he had said that if the conversion does not stop in Chhattisgarh, then the Bharatiya Janata Party will pay it all back.  Raman’s tweet came a day after the BJP’s protest in Raipur. All the leaders, including Raman Singh, marched to protest conversion on the streets while getting drenched in the rain.

Raman Singh also targeted Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel over the Naan scam two days ago. He accused CM Bhupesh Baghel of interfering in the SIT investigation. Efforts are underway to dilute the case against the accused IAS officers Anil Tuteja and Alok Shukla. On this, Congress retaliated and accused the BJP of misusing the central investigative agencies.
