Five working days per week comes into effect in Chhattisgarh

Raipur:With the objective to enhance the efficiency and productivity of government employees and as per the announcement of Chief Minister on the occasion of Republic Day, General Administration department has issued a notification today. It has been stated in the notification issued that all the Saturdays round the year have been declared as holidays, which means that the Government employees will have five working days per week. 

It has also been stated in the notification that the working hours have been fixed from 10 am to 5.30 pm for the offices of the State Ministries and Head of Departments and all the field offices. During the office hours, the lunch break will remain as before. This order will be effective from the date of issue of notification.
