CM names the road from OCM Chowk to City Kotwali Chowk in Raipur city after social worker Inder Chand Dhadiwal
Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel
has named the road from Pandit Vidyacharan Shukla Chowk (OCM) to Kotwali Chowk
in Raipur city after the social worker and senior leader late Inderchand
Dhadiwal.
Chief Minister made this announcement in
a programme organized at Netaji Subhash Stadium, Raipur on Thursday. He paid a
humble tribute to Late Dhadiwal, and recalled his invaluable contribution to
the development of the city. Raipur Mayor Ejaz Dhebar presided over the
programme.
In his brief remarks,
chief minister Bhupesh Baghel paid tribute to Dhadiwal, saying that he was
dedicated his entire life to social welfare and service. Dhadiwal was an
eminent politician and a devoted social worker. And today, to preserve his
memories, we have decided to name the road from OCM Chowk to Kotwali Chowk in
Raipur city after Dhadiwal, said Chief Minister.
In this programme
organized on account of Late Inderchand Dhadiwal’s first death anniversary,
Member of Rajya Sabha Chhaya Verma, senior MLA duo Satyanarayan Sharma and Dhanendra
Sahu, Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Girish
Devangan and Municipal Corporation Chairman along with councilors, aldermen, and
a large number of common people were present on the occasion.
