CM inaugurates physiotherapy center at Astha Nikunj Siyan Vatika in Dharampura

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh
Baghel on Wednesday visited Astha Nikunj Siyan Vatika, a centre sheltering
senior citizens in Dharampura of Jagdalpur city, and enquired about their
well-being. 

Baghel took blessings
from the elderly here for the well-being, safety, and prosperity of the people of
the state. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated ‘Physiotherapy
Center’ established with the assistance of the District Red Cross Society keeping
in view the specific physical needs of the senior citizens residing in this
old-age home operated by the Social Welfare Department. Old-age people residing in the vicinity of this center can also
avail benefits of physiotherapy services here.

Besides, the Chief
Minister also flagged off the “Physiotherapy on Wheels” service operated
with the assistance of the Red Cross Society, which aims to provide
physiotherapy services to the senior citizens and needy people across the
district at their doorstep.

Meanwhile, Astha Nikunj
Siyan Vatika old age home is been operated at Dharampura-01 in Jagdalpur from July 1998 in joint collaboration with the Social Welfare Department and Red Cross Society. The old age home is currently providing
shelter to as many as 15 destitute widows.
