The incident occurred during the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Public Works Department in State capital’s Tatyapara new market. Baghel, noticing the ambulance stranded in a congested traffic jam from the stage, took immediate action. He temporarily halted the programme, left the stage, and personally intervened to ensure the ambulance’s safe passage. Setting aside official protocol, Baghel passionately appealed to the surrounding vehicles to clear the way for the ambulance, demonstrating his commitment to the welfare of the people. The swift response from motorists allowed the ambulance to proceed without delay. After ensuring the ambulance’s unobstructed route, the Chief Minister returned to the event stage, and the program resumed seamlessly. This act of kindness and quick thinking by the Chief Minister underscored his dedication to public service and the welfare of the citizens of Raipur.
