Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has extended his warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja. This year it will fall on February 5.
In his congratulatory message, Baghel has said that Basant Panchami marks the arrival of spring season. Nature is at its beautiful best this time, hence Basant Panchami is also celebrated as a festival of greenery and harvest. Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, art and music, is also worshiped on this day.
On the occasion, Baghel wished that along with the change of seasons, this festival should also bring new zeal, energy and enthusiasm in everyone’s life.
