CHiPS to develop software for counseling of all medical courses

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion
Society (CHiPS) will prepare software for counseling of all medical courses in
the next three months. Keeping in view the complexity of counseling, the software
will be developed by CHiPS as per different syllabus. A complete outline has already
been prepared in this regard along with the timeline for the development of
software.   

CHiPS Officials said that an MoU has
been signed with the Directorate of Medical Education to prepare software for
counseling of 11 courses. These include medical postgraduate, medical graduate,
dentistry graduate, dentistry postgraduate, and physiotherapy, nursing
graduate, nursing postgraduate, post-basic B.Sc. (Nursing), G.N.M. Nursing, and
Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing courses. At present, the process of appointing
of regular medical officers for the health department is also being done
smoothly by the CHiPS.
