Chhattisgarh High Court gets silver award for better dissemination and implementation of e-courts

Court has received silver award for better dissemination and implementation of the e-courts system by the National Information Center (NIC).

National Informatics Center has given awards on seven projects like e-court,
e-hospital, e-office, service plus. In which this award has been given to the
e-court project operated in Chhattisgarh High Court. The award ceremony was
held virtually on October 1.

Scientist-C in
Chhattisgarh In-charge of NIC at Chhattisgarh High Court Sanjay Kumar Kashyap
informed that e-court project is being implemented in Chhattisgarh High Court
as per the guidelines of Supreme Court. Under this project, the latest version
of the Case Information System has been installed in High Court, District Court, and
Taluka Court, which is running successfully. With the Case Information System,
the data of each level of court can be accessed from anywhere on the Internet
and view the case status online. A mobile app of e-court is also available. Any
user can check his/her case status through the app.

Kashyap informed that
kiosk machine has been installed in Chhattisgarh High Court and almost all
judicial sections have been computerized. Along with this, kiosk machines are
also available in all district and taluka courts of the state, so that any
party can see the status of his case. Case status, judgment is all online. All
the information can be taken in one click by visiting the website of
Chhattisgarh High Court. He said that in the coming time, the e-court project
in the High Court would be further expanded and efforts would be made to take
the Chhattisgarh High Court further in the field of digitization and
computerization.
