CGSLSA’s short film festival enters day 3
Raipur:
The third season of “Shoot for Legal Awareness 2021” organized by Chhattisgarh
State Legal Authority on the occasion of “75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” entered its
day 3 on Thursday with the screening of films and presentations from various government
departments.
Short
movies based on four themes human trafficking, rights of children, drug
eradication, and cybercrime were displayed at the event. As many as 16 short
movies were presented before the audience in the first session. In between the
screening of short films, guests from various government departments had spoken
about different important topics including D.S. Chauhan from the department of
education on right to education.
The
guest from the Excise department Gopal Sahu spoke on the topic of Excise Act: the process of a license, inspection, and penal provision, and Krishna Khatik deputy
and zone commissioner spoke about pension scheme: process of application and
approval along with Legal Aid. Afterward, a short presentation was given by the
judicial officers of the district court Raipur on different schemes of NALSA.
During
the film festival, several cultural programmes were performed by the artists,
singers, and dancers. The most special performance of the day was given by hearing
and speech impaired kids of Aastha group of Rajnandgaon, they danced to the
famous Chhattisgarhi song.
After the screening of each film, directors or presenters of the films had shared their
social message behind the creation of the film. Students from several high schools
and various law colleges attended this festival. The organization of this short
film festival was magnificent and a huge number of people attended it. At the
event place Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Raipur, the exhibition of stalls
based on several themes at different pavilions was also organized.
