BJP leaders take a jibe at Congress over infighting, proposed action against MLA

Raipur: BJP leaders including
BJP national vice president and former chief minister of Chhattisgarh Dr Raman
Singh and former cabinet minister Rajesh Munat took jibe at Congress over infighting and proposed action against Congress MLA Shailesh Pandey. 

I had not imagined this
situation would happen in two and a half years, MLAs would be beaten up and there
would be a conspiracy to put them in jail”, said the former chief minister.

Singh said that now the
position of the MLAs has become such that they have to speak and public
statement of the MLAs is coming out. The Congress government is once again
surrounded. I never imagined that such a situation would arise in just two and a half years. MLAs will be beaten up and there will be a conspiracy to send them
to jail, he said.

Meanwhile, former
cabinet minister Rajesh Munat has also come out in support of Shailesh Pandey.
Munat took to Twitter on Friday saying leader like Brihaspati Singh is Hero
while Shailesh Pandey is a rebel in Bhupesh Baghel led Congress. Brihaspati is
attending the meetings in CM House while a recommendation of the expulsion of
Shailesh is being made. Wow, Congress…what games will you play in the game of
saving the chair??

Besides, Chhattisgarh BJP
Kisan Morcha State Vice President Gouri Shanker Shrivas has also extended his
support to Bilaspur MLA.

The District Congress
Committee had passed a resolution to expel Congress MLA from Bilaspur, Shailesh
Pandey, for six years from the party.
